I thought this board might be a good place to ask for
recommendations on elimination communication books... The thought of
this amazes me since both myself and my 8 year old DD both have
sensitive skin and I feel as if this might be a fantastic thing for our
baby on the way. Thanks in advance for any help!
Re: XP: Visiting with an elimination communication question...
More Green For Less Green
these are the ones I ordered if you're looking for titles, they are from the library (read: free
so I got a few
The diaper-free baby : the natural toilet training alternative / Christine Gross-Loh
Infant potty training : a gentle and primeval method adapted to modern living / Laurie Boucke.
Diaper-free before 3 : the healthier way to toilet train and help your child out of diapers sooner / Jill M. Lekovic.
Thank you! I add things to my wish list on amazon so I remember to go back to them later... I'm all about the library - I got my house a half mile from the nearest one for a reason...
I'm finding infant potty training to be really good and in-depth.
Diaper free before 3 is pretty useless, it recommends putting your baby on the potty before bathtime once a day starting at 6-9 months, and stupid things like no bottles (I assume breastfeeding as well although they didn't say this) before bed to reduce nighttime peeing, and relying on timing.. I didn't bother finishing it.
The other book never came in but I've heard good reviews
