Spotting and alittle freaked out...possible TMI

Okay..I am 6 weeks pregnant and for the past week (just about every other day) Ive had a light amount of brownish pink spotting. I notice it when I wipe and sometimes there are small spots in my underwear. But today I was sitting on the floor folding clothes an I actually felt some come out..it was about a golf ball size amount of dark brown blood with a slight tinge of red. I didnt have any cramping with it and it stopped after that. I do get slight dull cramps every so often but nothing that really bothers me. I guess it just freaks me out because this is my first baby. My OB told me to expect some spotting that it is normal but ofcourse Im going to worry anyway when it happens any advice or stories??

I'm going through the same thing. I'm 9wks approx according to Bump. It's on and off for about a month. I know it's hard, but try to relax and wait to see what the doctor says. My 1st appoint is tomorrow. I'll mention all my concerns. Until then, just positive thoughts. We need to send these babies good vibes. Smile

I would definitely make a doctors appt ASAP to find out what is going on. They will do an HCG test on you and be able to tell you with certainty what's happening. Good luck with all of it. T&Ps to you.

I go thursday for my second ultrasound. At my last appoinment they said everything looked great and that all my labs came back normal. I called them three days ago about my cramps and she said that they were normal unless they were bad enough to "bring me to my knees". which theyre not that bad. just dull and enough for me to notice I guess. but the bleeding has stopped today so far :-P

Oh, well there you go! All sounds good. I've heard many women bleed and it does not affect their babies at all. This bleeding sucks though. You'd think being pregnant that would be one less thing to worry about. It's a major inconvenience.

I have the same thing that is going on with you. I went to see my doctor who said it is completely normal. He also said if your not having any pains its not a miscarriage. I was just as freaked out as you but everything turned out find baby was moving around on the ultrasound but im still having it every now and then when I wipe. My doctor said if you recently had intercourse that could cause it as well.

Thank You! I called my doctor today and had to leave a voicemail.

I did have sex yesterday so that would explain the spotting. Today I have discharge that almost looks like chocolate (gross I know sorry) like its mucus-like and brown. no sign of red or pink today. just every now and then it will be a few drops.

I know its hard to not worry but try and relax. Its pretty common unless your having pain. As long as its not red or pink you should be ok. Its just old blood is what i was told. Mine was not only brownish but it was mucus like too I freaked. I would just hold off on sex for a few days. but even now when I have sex it happens the next day but the day after, nothing.
