I just had a miscarriage after trying to get pregnant for two years. I am 40 years old and was concerned that I would not get pregnant and that my husband and I would have to look at other options. Was very excited when we found out we were pregnant but that was short lived. I lost realized I had lost the baby on Friday, 1/6 and was extremely disappointed (had all of the symptoms of pregnancy, spotting and some cramping, sore boobs, etc so I know it was not a chemical pregnancy). The upside is that I lost it so early, I was not so emotionally involved because I knew it was a possibility and at the same time, excited because I do have a chance at getting pregnant again. If anyone has a similar story, looking for you to share you experience with me.
Signed,
Hopeful...

Re: Loss after 4 weeks
I am so sorry for your loss. It hurts no matter how early it is. Especially if you have been trying for a while.
I hope your stay is short and sweet and that you conceive again soon. The good news is that you know you can get pregnant!
Good Luck!

SHOCK BFP 9/28/2012: IT'S A BOY! and everything is normal !!!!!!
Little A born 38w 2d on 05/23/13 and is a true miracle for this IF Vet!
I'm sorry for your loss. We finally got a BFP after 16 months of trying only to miscarry at 8 weeks. It was devastating. Any loss is, but add the worry of being older and it just adds to the pain. Keep looking at the positives and staying hopeful that it will happen again quickly and you will get your take home baby soon. Good luck.
