  Both DH and I stay home with the kids (him 3 days/week and me 2 days/week).  He has found it more difficult to find Daddy friendly things, but he has gotten past that for the most part.  Here are some of the things that we do:  Storytime at B&N or the library, we joined the Y (even though we are still having trouble having E in daycare in there, I have taken him swimming while A goes to the daycare), Stay and Play at our church, music class, Bounce House places, walks around the mall, indoor playgrounds at the malls, parks, etc. in the summer.  

  If there is nothing planned, sometimes I just head out to Target or Wegmans and pick a few things up, just to get out of the house.  We try really hard to get out once a day, because if not, we all go crazy .  We do try to make it back for afternoon naps.

  I re-read your message and realize that I did not really answer the question directly...typical schedule

  7:00 kids wake up

  7:30ish breakfast

  8-9:30 We let E watch PBS.

  9:30 TV off until after dinner and we either head out somewhere or pick out some toys to play with

  11:30 lunch

  12-2 (or 3) Nap

  Usually I take them out in the late afternoon for errands or even just for a car ride, especially if we did not get out in the morning.

  I can not imagine never leaving the house, N must go bananas being home all day! We leave the house 99% of the time
  

  Typical day

  6:30- kids wake up and watch Disney while I make DH's breakfast/lunch and their breakfast. Babies have bottles.
  

  7:30- Breakfast then usually they play. Justin chases B around and Natalie claps.

  8:30- Tubbies on non school days or everyone gets dressed
  

  *On tues/thurs we leave for pre-k at 8:55- sometimes I'll take the twins to the mall/errands while J is at school*

  9:30 twins nap. Justin and I will do a craft or color or he'll help me with housework. If I have to shower or make any phone calls he plays his Wii. When it's nice we'll go outside. We usually leave for any errands when the babies wake up

  12:00 lunch

  1:30 everyone naps **heaven**

  4:00 I'll try to play something with all of them; blocks, bopping a balloon around; sometimes if I'm really busy they'll watch a little bit of a movie
  

  5:00 Justin will play the Wii while the twins play with their toys while I cook dinner

  6:00 dinner

  7:00 babies in bed
