Need OB/GYN Rec in Alexandria area

Hi Ladies!  I posted this same question on the nest, so my apologies to anyone seeing the question twice!

DH and I have talked about TTC soon, and I'd like to get a head start on finding a good OB/GYN.  I don't have a GP to consult and have only lived here for a year, so I'm kind of in the dark.  I did go to Physicians for Women in Alexandria once last year for my annual pap, but I didn't love my experience (wasn't horrible, but wasn't great).  I know I could go back there if necessary, but I was wondering if any of you have any good recommendations?  FWIW, the Old Town area would be ideal.  Also, I'm thinking it would be ideal to deliver at Innova, but I'm mostly saying that because it's 15 minutes down the road from us.  TIA!

    This isn't in Old Town, but I've been going to Capital Women's Care in the Springfield/Alexandria area and have been happy.  I've had two kids so far with them and have had great experiences.  There are a number of doctors that you see during your pregnancy, but you can choose any of them for your gyn appts.  I personally prefer Dr. Stas (delivered both my kids!) and Dr. Hibschman.

    CWC is my rec too. Dr. Stas delivered my twins.

    I go to CWC in Alexandria, too, and Dr. Kusic delivered DD.  I've been very happy with the practice.

    Thank you all very much!  It's nice to get such a consensus! I'm going to call them tomorrow and schedule a gyn appointment and then maybe (hopefully) I'll be going to them soon while pregnant :)

    I go to Physicians and Midwives Collaborative (Kenmore Ave office, but they have multiple locations). I was a bit worried about seeing different doctors each time, but honestly all have been great. So far, Dr. Andre is my favorite and who I've seen the most.  Two of my good friends also went to this practice and had great experience as well.  This practice delivers at INOVA Alexandria.

    I have been going to Physicians for Women for about a year now have had no problems.  I just dont care for Dr. Hibsham (sp?).  It's off of Seminary Road, near the 395 interchange.
