Diaper rash or something else?

During LO's bath this evening I noticed he has pimple like bumps in a rash formation on his little bottom and some under where his testicles lay. We use a diaper rash ointment with each diaper change, wipe the area completely clean, change diapers as soon as we notice they need it, and leave enough room in the diaper for it to "breathe". Is this diaper rash or is it something else? It doesn't seem to bother him but it bothers me. We will be letting it air out later on this evening after he wakes up from his post bath nap.

    Our LO had these red like pimples on her girlie parts and turned out it was a mild yeast infection. Doc gave us a prescription cream and it's gone.. We had tried a&d on it and then desitin and nothing worked. I would try desitin if it doesn't work then call pediatrician.

    We are using the all natural Butt Paste but I have desitin, should I switch at the next diaper change?

    We noticed this exact thing yesterday and went today for our 2 week check up. Our pedi said it's a mild yeast infection. He perscribed some cream for it. Not sure if there's anything OTC for it???

    Try desitin. It actually has the same active ingredient as butt paste but at a higher concentration.

    Also, if it's yeast or fungus you can check with md but most are ok with clotrimazole cream. The same one used for athlete's foot.
