pregnancy hair

I know the hormones can change our hair in many ways..in the last month mine has become totally unmanageable...tangling horribly daily I had a trim the otehr week its not an issue of split ends etc.  Anyone have this issue and find a product that tamed the third tri hair?

    My issue was having oily hair. Sorry, I don't have any remedies, I just waited it out. Things seem to be back to normal now and I'm due in 2 days!

    oddly enough, my hair *has* been awfully tangled lately.  I hadn't thought about it in terms of pregnancy hair but maybe that has something to do with it? just that there's so much MORE hair since it's not falling out? or something?

    I just thought I was being lazy on mat leave and not brushing it much. hee.

    I haven't noticed anything like that, my issue is my hair is falling out in clumps.  It has gotten so thin over the last 10 weeks or so and I heard that it will fall out again after the baby is born.  I feel like I am not going to have any hair left.
    surprise BFP 7/12/05 = missed m/c and D&C 9/28/05; TTC since 10/06; 1/16/08-D&C to remove bicournate uterus; 4 IUI's = BFN, 2 IVF's = BFFN. 8/5/09 Surprise BFP!! = another missed m/c and d&c 9/28/09 IVF #3 May 2010 = BFP!!!!  Beautiful DD born 1/16/2012.  8/1/13 Surprise BFP!!!  EDD 4/13/14.

    My hair has been falling out especially in the shower. I have plenty of hair to spare, but the drain is getting clogged. Gross I know.

    I'm a hairdresser, and my hair is fairly long. I started having major tangle issues; no amount of conditioner would detangle it. I don't have any oil issues tho, and I wash my hair daily. I recommend Redken All Soft shamp/cond. And for a detangler I use Biolage Smooth & Shine Milk. It's silicone based and gives your hair more slip instead of acting like velcro. Makes your bathroom floor super slippery, so Beware! You can find these products at a JCPenney Salon, Regis, Trade Secret to name a few!

    I thought I was the only one! My hair has been horribly tangled and oily for the whole third trimester. I figured I'd just gotten lazy about it but it's nice to know it may not stay this way lol

    Thanks for the replies and the tips from the hair stylist!  Mines tangled but not oily.  Its very bizarre and aggravating I will try the biosilk stuff.
