I have been going to the gym in the mornings for a few weeks because DH isn't going to work until later. I get up at 5:15 and try to go to bed by 10:00. I am dragging by 2, when is "I have so much more energy when I workout in the am" going to hit?
When DH goes to work early, I don't get up until 7 unless I have to.
Re: What time to you go to bed/get up?
Bedtime really depends. The earliest weeknight/weekday, doesn't matter, is 11pm, latest could be 3-4am, average probably more around 12-1am. I'm up no later 7am most days.
ETA: I work out 4 days a week most weeks and am always exhausted, doesn't matter how much sleep I get.

We go into the bedroom at 10:30- he watches TV and goes on his laptop/iPad and I read (I like at least 30 minutes to read, it helps me sleep)... we turn off lights @ around 11pm.
I get up at 6:55 on school days. When DD doesn't have school, I get up when she does- anywhere from 6:30am to 8am.
Normally, I go to bed around 12am but since I've been pregnant, it is more like 10:30. I am so wiped out, I can't make it any later. I am usually a night owl, though, and love my "me time" in the evenings.
I wake up around 6:30 every morning (either because DD#2 is up or my alarm goes off, whichever is first).
ETA: I'm not working out right now so I don't have anything to add there :P
Weekdays I go to bed as soon as the kids do. So around 8-9pm. I get up at 3:15-3:30am to be at work by 5am. I think I'm going to start taking a shower, packing my lunch and getting the kids stuff for the morning ready at night so I can sleep until 3:45-4:00am. I've been so exhausted by bedtime I pass out as soon as the kids do. If not before. My shift sucks. It's nice being off by 1:30pm but I'm so tired that i can't enjoy it. I nap whe. I get home around 2-3:30 when the kids get home and then have enough energy to make it through hw, dance class/basketball practice or whatever then dinner and bedtime. By 9 I'm shot and need sleep.
Eta: on weekends I stay up until 11 some nights and sleep til the kids get up. One Saturday they slept til 9am so I did too. It was wonderful!!! Usually they get up at 7:30-8am.

If I'm teaching 6 am Bodypump I am in bed by 10 pm at the latest. Otherwise, it's sometime between 10 and 11.
On a non-teaching morning, I try to get up sometime between 6:15 and 6:30 am so I can have a little time to myself before I wake DD up at 6:45.
I'm apparently a 90 year old woman, and go to bed around 830 or 9. Sometimes I don't get to sleep til about 10 if I'm reading, but that's usually the latest. I wake up when ds does, usually around 730. I work out after he wakes up. My mom watches him while I run on her treadmill.
I try to be in bed by 10, asleep by 11 or 11:30 depending on what i'm watching/reading.
My alarm goes off at 430 and then i hit snooze until 5 so i can go use the treadmill and/or whatever other workouts i need to get in.
I need to go to bed earlier. I'm exhausted most days. But i'd rather get up early then push working out until after dinner. I never have motivation by then.
Christmas 2011
I'm up between 6 and 7. I go to sleep between 9 and 1. Average about 11 I'd say.
After I had Kate I went to bed at like 8:30 every night. I was a lot more stable minded then. Sleep has a huge impact on my mood and behavior.
Usually during the week I am in bed around and asleep around 10:30/11, sometimes earlier. Over break, it was later b/c of Jackson not having to be up for school. I usually get up around 7:30. I do as much as I can the night before b/c J and I leave for school at like 7:50 and I go to the gym after that on my way home - MH works from home in the mornings and Scarlett usually sleeps until 9 or later. She's usually not up by the time I'm back around 9:15-9:30.
On the weekends, we stay up later and sleep until Scarlett gets up. Jackson is usually up around 8-8:30 those days, but he will play in his room or the playroom until Scarlett gets up. We have an alarm with a motion sensor, so if he were to not listen and go downstairs, or open a window upstairs, it would go off.
I need 8 or so hours of sleep to feel normal, so I do my best to get it. I'm a mess w/out sleep.
