My dad wants to order flowers for my mom twice next month for their anniversary and valentines day. What online company would you recommend, delivery is in Bryan/College St.
There are some great local florists in BCS. I can't remember the exact name of the one that I use but if you need it, email me at erin at purewonderphotography dot com and I will get it from my dad. I like using a local florist because then I can just call them up, tell them how much I want to spend and have them just use whatever is in season/the best looking as opposed to just using a generic t eleflora or something of the sort.
You could page Flywife and see who she recommends...
ETA: If he isn't set on going with an online company I'd go with a local one as well. Some of the online companies go thru the local florist and even then the arrangment is guaranteed to look like it does online. And if the online company delivers the flowers thru the mail they are sent bundled in a box and the vase is seperate in the same box- meaning, the recipient has to arrange them (for me, this defeats the purpose because I can't arrange flowers like a florist could!).
i always seem to get much more for my money when i cut out the middle man (online). the ones I use just end up contacting a local florist anyway, and then they (online) take their cut before paying the local person, so I end up getting less than if I just called them directly.
even when it's for a town I don't know, I just google (or yelp) florists and call one up. tell them how much I want to spend, where I need it and when, and give them my CC over the phone. easy peasy.
