my heart rate--normal or not?

I feel like I can constantly feel and hear my heart beating...I'm almost 18 weeks, and I know that my heart rate will go up when the baby moves, but is this normal?

    Yes, it is normal. Your body has a lot more blood than normal, and your heart is working twice as hard as it usually does.
