Pain and cramping all night long BUT...

not in labor yet.

This is my 2nd so I should know right? Well I'm still not sure. I felt like I was having contractions all night long but they were very light and really didn't hurt much so I guess false labor or braxton hicks?

Sigh. I was really hoping for PAIN last night so I could know I was in labor!

Now I'm sitting here at work unhappy, tired, and still having light pains but NOT in labor yet.

I hear ya. I have had that three times. Last Thursday, the contractions were 3-5 minutes apart and painful, but not horrible...I was so bummed when they fizzled out.

I'm just believing (wishful thinking?) that all this false labor will help make real labor easier!

How frustrating. Ive been having consistant bh 2-3 min apart for two days. I just want painful contractions. I guess its better then nothing right? hang in there we know how u feel

Thanks ladies, I hope it will come soon. Really I'm just tired of working my butt off here at work! My boss is having a slight meltdown even thinking of me not being around tomorrow! I work at a small firm and we're the only 2 attorneys so he's really going to have his hands full when I'm gone. AND we just laid off our paralegal and we're making a big move to another office ALL while I'm on maternity leave.

Anyway I'm sitting here just hoping for more steady contractions!!!

This has been me for the past few weeks. Really light contractions or really intense BH. I haven't thought anything of it since I am still "far" away from D-day, but just wanted you to know you're not alone!!

I had the same night last night...I must have woken from contractions about 30 times, literally. This past Saturday I had decent contractions, all 5-minutes apart, for 45 minutes...I was three contractions from making "the call," then, nothing. I'm scheduled for a section the day after tomorrow, so there is a light at the end of the proverbial tunnel, but I feel like I'm being teased with this false labor/BH action!

And I feel your pain regarding work...I just stopped, Monday being my first day off. I would have stopped sooner, but my office manager was in a near meltdown at the thought of not having me run our front office. Now, to top it off, one of the other two women who work for me at the front office is out until "at least" Thursday. She started getting sick last Thursday, but rather than addressing it THEN, when there were still two others to run that office (including ME!) she held off and didn't go to the dr until Sunday (in the ER). She would have been back to work TODAY had she sought treatment upon becoming sick rather than waiting. Why? Because she's an irresponsible moron.

Sorry...I'm venting again. I can't seem to stop myself today!

This was my night last night. I've been having BH 2-3 minutes apart for a month now. No progress on my cervix is being made. Last night had 7 hours of decent contractions about 9 minutes apart, never too painful to breathe through though. Woke up and it's like it all never happened and my body is back to normal. Making me crazy!

I had the exact same thing last night. I want this kid out soooo bad now. We didn't find out the sex and now it is so close it is KILLING me! This is my second as well, but I have the same thing as you...mine is tightening of the belly...pretty frequent. They are just Braxton Hicks...mine are painless, just tight and uncomfortable. Good luck. Hopefully we both will be delivering sooner than later.

I've also had cramping and contractions for about the last 20 hours.

I'm glad baby is still cooking for now - I'm a bit earlier than you guys. I'm sure I won't relieved after a night of this in a couple of weeks!

I had the same thing last night! My due date was yesterday (my ticker is off) and I had contractions once an hour all night and then this morning they were every ten minutes and then they just tapered off. I got very little sleep and I thought today would be the day but it is not.
