Did your dc complain of growing pains?

Ds has mentioned off and on over the past few weeks (usually upon waking) that his legs hurt. He doesn't bring it up again throughout the day and it hasn't impacted his activity at all. He's also been eating us out of house and home. I attributed it to a growth spurt. Today ds has a stomach virus and dh is freaked out because ds said his legs and feet hurt. Tell me about your dc's growing pains so I can try to decide if that's what this might be or if it's related to his stomach issues. Thanks!

    DS has complained aboutnit in the past, normally at bedtime. I never asked the dr about it, but assumed it was just growing pains. He stopped mentioning it after a few weeks each time.

    DD will wake up crying and complaining of her "feet hurting" in the middle of the night. I used to get them as a kid too. I give her some ibuprofen and rub her feet and then she is fine.

    DD2 had them for a while. It was in her legs and feet and usually at bedtime or in the middle of the night. 

    Dehydration makes them worse so that might be why he's complaining while sick -- see if you can get more fluids into him.

    All the time. It bothers her most in the middle of the night. Sometimes I wonder if all physical growth takes place while we're sleeping. Just a couple nights ago she woke screaming that her leg hurt (mainly under her knee or just above that spot). She finally calmed down after Tylenol and an ice pack.
