Can anyone recommend a CR service?

Can anyone recommend a Credit Repair service?

 I haven't used credit irresponsibly necessarily, but I used it to get through school (textbooks, rent, etc.) that student loans didn't cover & right now I feel quite overwhelmed. My credit is slowly increasing, but I'm fighting a student loan right now that is improperly reporting & I feel as though my hands are tied.

 Please tell me you guys have some advice.

    We also used MMI with great success. Good luck - credit issues can be so frustrating!!

    We used MMI a long time ago and they were good.  Have you submitted a request with the individual credit bureaus to have your report corrected?

     

    I have filed & am still waiting to hear back....hopefully it's good news. :)

    When I had someone else's stuff on my credit, I didn't go thru the credit agencies because I knew it would take forever. I contacted board members of the bank i supposedly had a loan from. I asked them if they would help. I just googled this info. They have a fraud department that cleared it up within a week. The banks worry about their money! I don't know if that would work in your case?

    You can clean up your own credit and it is much cheaper than one of those agencies.  I highly recommend - www.creditboards.com  They helped me through it all step by step.  I cleaned up both DH and my scores tremendously!
