BFF taking bad advice (((pg mentioned)))

My BFF of the past 20+ yrs is pg. Since we found out what was happening to our LO I've not heard from her... until today. It's been a gruesome 3 wks and not having my counterpart there for me has been awful. I found out another friend of ours told her not to have any contact with me for at least a month! She finally "broke down" and answered the phone after I posted on her fb wall. I'm so angry at that other girl for telling my "sister" not to contact me, and kind of irked that my BFF would listen to her. Of course, I understand there's no handbook on my emotional state of being, but I'm her birthing assistant, she's my BFF, and we've been through my losses before together... *sigh* Thanks for letting me rant a bit. I feel better.

This! I'm sorry your BFF didn't think for herself in this instance. It's a shame that she listened to someone else's bad advice. I'm glad to hear she came around, though.
That other girl should be stoned! How horrible. I'm so glad it worked out and you're back in touch, but that just broke my heart for you. I'm sure it was really sad to not be hearing from her. People are so clueless.

Bad advice girl suffered a loss a few mos back, so I can understand why BFF thought she knew what she was talking about, but it was really frustrating! I'm so glad she's come around! Guess it saved me some gas $$$ and lunch $$$ not having our twice weekly trips! lol
