Late implantation?

Ok so here's what's been going on. I started my period on December 14th, which meant I should have ovulated around the 28th, how ever I ovulated 3 days early on the 25th. I waited until 9 dpo to start testing, as that was earliest I saw anyone else have a + result. Only now, at 17 dpo am I having what seems to be implantation bleeding. I have heard that late implantation can have a higher risk miscarriage, just wondering if that has been anyone else's experience.

Implantation at 17dpo? I doubt it. How do you know when you ovulated? Were you temping?

Do you temp to confirm O? Your luteal phase is typically 14 days so I would say that AF is on the way. Sorry

depending on your cycles.. but like the PP said go to the TTC board and were you temping? did you get a BFP?

I agree with the above. At 17 DPO spotting is likely because AF is on her way, not implantation.

I have always thought of implantation spotting as something you look back on AFTER you have your BFP and think " oh I thought that was my period starting" not something you have and think " This is implantation spotting I must be pregnant". It is not something you can confirm a pregnancy by or count as a symptom.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. I just wanted to hear it from someone else so I could stop getting my hopes up. Thanks Ladies!
