Back in May I had a misscarriage, and was only a week or so along. So every month I am waiting of course to see if I get my period or not.
Well I used to have a normal cycle, and now it is not as normal. Anyway I started my period Sunday, but now it is hardly anything, so I am thinking it could be implantation bleeding? I usually have a heavy period so to only have light bleeding for one day, is unusual for me.
Needless to say I am going to take a pregnancy test tonight to see if I am pregnant!
Wish me luck!
Re: Taking a Pregnancy test tonight.
1.) There is no "normal" cycle. Just because you've had a "normal" cycle before, doesn't mean the cycle you're having now isn't normal. Cycles can fluctuate days every month.
2.) Are you charting? Did you get what you think might be implantation bleeding around the same time as your period?
3.) I don't know if this is what people on the board consider a drive-by announcement... But, I'll wish you good luck anyways.
ETA: I forgot to add that I am sorry for your loss.
I'm sorry for your loss. I do hope that maybe it was implantation bleeding and that you get a BFP. But just in case you don't - I have super light periods so it does happen. They slowly got lighter over the years. It would save you some stress if you charted for temperatures. You would be able to tell whether you had Ovulated and whether this was spotting or your period. (Yes it can be mistaken as one of us just yesterday got a BFP after thinking she had her period and was gearing up to O again) but for the most part it will tell you what is happening with your body and not make you crazy wondering. You can sign up for fertility friend by clicking on anyones chart in their siggy. It's free and will take you through a course that will explain everything very easily. Good Luck
First...I'm sorry about your loss
Second...if you think you got your period, it is most likely your period. My period two cycles ago was extremely light (only needed a tampon for 1 day). While the thought did cross my mind that it may have been implantation bleeding or breakthrough pregnancy bleeding, I knew better.
Third...I (and most of the ladies on here) highly suggest charting your basal body temperature. It's the only way to know when/if you ovulate and what your "normal" is.
I agree with PP's that you should chart if you don't already.
Just last month I had a light period that was very on and off for the first few days, ended after 4 days (which is weird bc AF usually lasts a week + for me), and never got heavy than a medium flow. Based on my chart, I had no clear sign of Ovulation and was still getting +OPK's throughout the bleeding.
I was not pregnant. I'm thinking that an Annovulatory cycle was the cause of the wierd "period".
