Should I call the Doc?

I totally understand many of you are not medical professionals. I'm just hanging somewhere between being "normal" and a "crazy" person and I need help.

Anyway, last week at 6 weeks, I felt terrible. I could barely move without feeling sick to my stomach. Then, the last few days (7 weeks. 1 day now) I feel better. Still gagging a bit in the morning. But, I do feel better. I'm still having some symptoms: sore boobs (occassionaly), bloating, gas, and no appetite.

I was so sick last time that I feel like something can't be right, but I know that every pregnancy is different.

So, my question is should I just continue to ride the pregnancy wave or call my doctor?

Re: Should I call the Doc?

  • I am sure everything is fine, but I know its hard not to worry. :) When do you go in for your first visit? It never hurts to call and get some reassurance from the nurse. Remember, you are paying your OB alot of money. I feel like I am always calling my OB or pedi!

  • Personally I wouldn't call.  Symptoms can be off and on.  If they've improved a lot, that doesn't really mean anything.  But if it's really bothering you then go ahead.

  • I have just done a ton of looking online for an answer to this type of question as I woke up this morning and my boobs were WAY less sore than the last two weeks, and I felt a lot less sick than the last 2 or 3 days.....from everything I found, symptoms can come and go, and we might be lucky enough to start feeling better early.
