I was just about to ask too. Googling EPO came up with performance-enhancing drugs and I'm pretty sure that wasn't right.
I read that you shouldn't take it while pregnant (I guess bc of the uterine contractions that MrsRosie mentioned). I would say that I'd try anything, but I'm taking so many pills and herbs now, I'm not sure if I can literally stomach anything else. But another month or two and I might be circling back around to try it.

Stick, little one, stick! EDD October 15, 2012
I was taking it orally - 3000mg/day. So I had to take it a couple times a day depending on the pills I bought. I know at some points I was taking at least six pills/day. Two pills three times/day.
Like I said earlier, it is recommended to take from cd 1 through O and mrsrosie pointed out the reason- because it can cause uterine contractions. I tried that when we were ttc#1 for about six months. It really did seem to help my CM. FWIW, the only time I've seen EWCM is while taking EPO. You could start with that. I think that couldn't hurt.
The fact that I took it all cycle ended up working though so maybe that's what I needed personally. Call it coincidence, but twice on the third cycle of taking it all cycle I got pg. The first time I had given up and we were waiting out the summer before going back and seeing Dr. V a u g h n who had recommended another lap and IVF would be our best chance. So we were not even hoping or trying really. The second time we were not TTC nor tta, I was taking it to help the plugged milk ducts and it apparently had a surprising side effect! Both my kids are fine. I am not a POASer so if it did cause a c/p or very early m/c, I wouldn't have known. I was in such denial the first time, I didn't POAS until 18 dpo.
It was just a suggestion. By no means am I advocating anyone to be "reckless" with some OTC supplements, but just sharing my experience. I think in addition to lack of fertile CM, I have lining issues thanks to my blocked tube and EPO keeps the lining from building up too much for an egg to be implanted. EPO is basically my wonder pill. ;-)
Oh and nothing else was helping my CM!! Mucinex, green tea, etc, etc, etc. We tried preseed. I feel like I tried it ALL and EPO seemed to be what helped the most --outside of getting pg. I didn't see it mentioned so thought I'd throw it out as another idea.
