Advice on what to ask

I have a u/s today at 3:30. I'm super excited to see my little guy! It seems like every time I go to my OB, I never know which questions to ask and our time with her actually only ends up being about 5 minutes long. I want to get my money's worth! Any suggestions on which questions I could be asking her at this point. I'm getting close to 25 weeks. Any advice would be appreciated ;-)

  • I feel like I never have any questions, either!

I have an appointment on Friday and I do want to ask about her recommendations about sleeping on my back (I am still doing this occasionally and comfortably) and also signs that I need to be aware of for things like pre-e and PTL.

  • DH laughed at me, but I bought a little notebook to keep in my purse so I can jot down questions as I think of them.  Then at each appt, I have my list - cuz I can never remember my questions when put on the spot.  At my 24 wk appt they gave me handouts on: breastfeeding, signs of pre-term labor, my hospital pre-registration packet and asked if I had signed up for any of the classes/hospital tour.

  • I have a pregnancy app on my phone that has a place to jot questions for appointments. I note every question I have between spots and then fire them off when I've got my midwife's attention. This time (26 weeks), I'm going to ask about when to panic if baby's still breech, what we can do in that case, when my husband should start coming to appts (I want him to be comfortable with her too), the results of my GTT, and if she had any pediatrician and regular doc recs (I don't have a PCP).
