Just realized

I'm in single digits in the countdown until my due date. I never got to this point with DS1 (he was born at 38w3d).  I'm not at the "I'm done" point, but with 3 WEEKS (yes, weeks) of irregular contractions, I keep thinking something is going to happen soon. I am dilating and effacing, so that's something, but the waiting game is kind of hard. I expected to be waiting the first time, so it was a pleasant surprise when he came early. It's just different this time...

I'm trying my hardest not to complain, though :)

    Congrats on your single digits-dom! 

    It's been crazy to see what seems like so many of the Jan moms go early, and now we're all just waiting. I've still got awhile, so I can wait my turn for all the early and mid-January mamas to have their outside babies!
