    It was your FB post the other day that got me thinking about my husband's iPod. I plugged in his serial number and apparently he's getting a new one. Very cool!

    (asks the step-mom who doesn't want to go digging thru her 16 yr old's drawers and he's not back here until Friday)

     

    Our IF journey: 1 m/c, 1 IVF with only 3 eggs retrieved yielding Dylan and a lost twin, 1 shocker unmedicated BFP resulting in Jace, 3 more unmedicated pregnancies ending in more losses.
    Total score: 6 pregnancies, 5 losses, 2 amazing blessings that I'm thankful for every single day.

    I think they are white or black bought between Nov 2005- Dec 06, so I would say no.

    Right, I just went to the website to see if mine was 1st Gen and they are either black or white.

    Babbs, thanks for posting this.  I am eligible to get a new one.  I'm wavering though because DH personalized mine...what a sentimental fool I can be!

    My sister gave me an Ipod. No clue what kind or generation it is.  She handed it to me and all I kept thinking was "What the heck am I going to do with this???"  Hmmm I guess I'll check out the serial number and see if I'm getting a new once.

    Another SAIFer posted this on FB and I just checked, mine is one of the recalled ones. Woot! We actually still use it every night, it plays music in the kids' room all night long. So, now I'm worried about using it in the meantime, and worried about what we'll do while we wait for the replacement...

    But, yay for a new iPod!
