My husband wants to see this so I bought tickets for his birthday.  7pm show at Bass Hall.  Any good birthday dinner recs that would be walking distance?  What would you do?  (It's a Sunday evening.)

    Nothing walking distance that isnt on the drag.  And even then, that is kind of a hike.

    It's not walking distance, but there are plenty of places along Manor -- Eastside Cafe, Vivos, Red House Pizzeria. It's less than a 5 minute drive to campus from any of those.
