When do you do the bulk of your cleaning?

Morning, mid-day, night? During naps?

If I don't get it done first thing, count me out. I've already cleaned kitchen, dishes, laundry, cleaned windows and have supper in the crock pot. But... I am pretty sure I'm done for the day. What about you?

I am most alert in the morning and at night, so I get the bulk done in the AM, but I will clean during the day as I go/during naps and I do big stuff at night after Mackenzie goes to bed, like organizing for example, which would be difficult to do with an active toddler. Or when DH gets home, we will take turns, and the other one will do a big chore. Last night he tackled the garage, while I did dinner and took care of DD.

I usually go to the gym in the morning come home and then clean. I have to have that burst of energy in order to get started...

I don't really have a routine. It just depends on what I have going on that day. I love getting everything clean in the morning but sometimes it has to wait until later in the day,

Mondays are my main cleaning days, that's when I do the bathrooms and floors and dusting. The rest of the week, its just cleaning the kitchen and putting stuff away.

Has to be done during naps otherwise DD#3 will not allow me to get anything done. I would rather clean in the mid morning if possible.

I am really lucky. Two afternoons a week (most weeks, doesn't 100% of the time), my mother-in-law takes DD from lunchtime to dinnertime. Wednesdays and Sundays. I clean then.

I fit it in when I can. I am a night person, so a lot of times you'll find me vacuuming or scrubbing the bathroom at 10pm. I get a lot done during naptime too, though.

DD is super clingy right now. I can't put her down and walk away even for a couple seconds w/o her screaming and crying. I clean when she naps and at night after she is in bed. When she is awake, I usually fold laundry on the floor with her while she plays or I will dust in the same room with her.

We have one day(usually Tuesday) that we stay home and I do the majority of the cleaning. I deep clean the bathrooms, the floors, dust, vacuum, etc. My kids are older now so they either "help" me or play together. I prefer to get all the big cleaning done in one day. I have to get up and get started in the morning though or I don't get as much done and am less motivated. Then the rest of the week all I have to do is maintain which means wiping down the bathrooms(2x/week), cleaning the kitchen, sweeping the floors, and general picking up.

Things that don't get done as often like cleaning the baseboards and windows and moving furniture to clean under it get are done on the weekends so H is here to help me.

I have a serious problem.

I clean 3 times a day. In the morning I unload the dishwasher, start breakfast then clean that mess. I then shower and clean up my bathroom mess. I then play with DS and let him run around making a mess. Right before his nap (which is after lunch) I do a quick clean again. (so I can have a little down time) After DS wakes he runs around playing; I make dinner later and give a bath to DS. (DH showers at night) So I do a good clean again before bed.

By cleaning often it takes almost no time to clean each time. It also keeps me moving around.

Sporadically. The first set of dishes are done when I give the kids lunch. Other random things can be done through out the day. Laundry is done whenever. If I am deep cleaning a room, then that is done when DD is taking a nap since she is a little tornado right now. I do not have set times to clean the house.

All in the morning. The tricky stuff I do very early before DH leaves for work. This includes cleaning bathrooms, mopping and cleaning the upstairs. (also working out).

The other stuff I do later in the morning while the kids are playing. I love getting everything done early so I don't have to worry about it later. Plus, I really run out of steam in the afternoon/bedtime! I coulnd't imagine having to do laundry and cleaning aftrer the kids are in bed at 8pm!

It's not uncommon for me to have worked out, done a load of laundry, done dishes and cleaned a bathroom by 7:30am!

I have the same problem so I bought a back carrier. It works so much better to get stuff done while still wearing her than any of the front carriers. I highly recommend it!

either during or right after naptime (4pm-ish). It's easier to do w/ only 1 child around, with DD2 napping. Or typically after nap, the girls play in the play room together and I can get some stuff done then.

Throughout the day, I clean. But I usually clean my kitchen and dust downstairsin the AM and do my afternoon cleaning upstairs. I guess it's just wherever my kids are playing and that usually occurs at those times.

When our housekeeper comes...which is Wednesdays. Other than that, I pick up in the evenings before DH gets home. Kinda like hiding the evidence.
