Anyone know the shelf life of Progesterone Suppositories?

I have a whole bottle left over that was filled 10/31/11.... I am starting them again this evening. I picked up a new bottle today, but was wondering if I can still use the other bottle? They have been refrigerated this entire time.

I think it's like six months. You can just call the pharmacy if you have any concerns. But I usually get a bottle of 30 pills...then only need to take about 11 before AF comes, so one bottle lasts me three months.

I just checked that too. Mine say nothing about it and I was not told by pharmacist so I'd have to say no, they do not need to be. Edit to add...mine are oral pills. I'd double check your packaging.

I have vaginal supposotories-the label says to keep them in the fridge. I never thought about their shelf life, good question.

It should say on the bottle "discard after ..."

You other ladies that are concerned about them not being refrigerated, perhaps you have Endometrin or Prometrium.

I think PP is talking about the actual suppositories that are compounded by the pharmacy. Those would need to be refrigerated.
