Looking for recommendations on kid picnic tables.
I'd like to buy a kid-size picnic table for DS for his 3rd birthday and just can't make a decision. I'm thinking plastic (vs wood) and I like the idea of fold-for-storage but that wouldn't be an absolute. Are the umbrella worthwhile? We'd plan to use it for the 4-5 little kids to eat lunch/cake at the party in the house, but then it would be an outside toy for our deck in the summer.

We have this one (we got it from Costco but that was 2 yrs ago). One of the reviews says it's unstable, but that certainly hasn't been my experience - I sat at the table at 8 months pregnant without problems. Our table has been outside the entire time we've had it, it's been painted on, hosed off, scrubbed, and it still looks fine. It folds flat, too. I'd definitely recommend it - though I admit it's not the cutest thing in the world.
I second the Lifetime table! My mom bought one at Costco for a great price and by the time I realized how much we loved it, they discontinued it. I got lucky and found mine on Craig's list.
It's sturdy, durable, folds up, is easy to clean and is a good size.
