  thanks all  

  unfortunately it was just a fluke - just those 2 nights in fact.  oh well.  DW brought her to the pedi yesterday and she's got some fluid in her ear (but it doesnt quite look infected for anibiotics) so the doc thinks thats probably affecting her sleep.  its always something!
