2x moms - what are you buying?

Went to BRU today and felt like I was walking around aimlessly.  What are you buying new and/or replacing? 

Here is what I got tonight:

1. Baby wash

2. Pacifiers

3. Bottle nipples

4. Bottle brushes

5. Diapers

6. Wipes

We're waiting to buy clothes until we know the gender.  I already have all my replacement parts for my pump.  I feel like I am forgetting what I need.  We have so much stuff from DD, so this is just stuff that needs to be replaced.

2x mommies, what else are you buying??

    Same...I feel like I have nothing. And am so ill-prepped for this one. I haven't set foot in a BRU or baby store in ages. We don't know the gender either, and our first was a girl. I bought some new NB sized sleepsuits in gender neutral colors to get us through the first couple of days. 

    I bought an Expedit shelf from Ikea and still need to get the cubes to go in it. Also got a couple of new changing pad covers from Ikea. I still need to get maxi pads and breast pads, some new bottles, a microwave steam sterilizer (got rid of the first one we had when we moved). I hadn't considered pacis. DD never took one, but I guess I should get some in case.

    Did you need a second baby monitor? More baby socks? Something warm (like a pramsuit or coat) for this baby? DD was born in the summer, so all her winter stuff will be useless.

    Our DD was a summer baby too, so we need new clothes no matter what.  We will wait on those.  I forgot I did buy some sleepers.  Our DD is 3.5, so we don't need a new baby monitor.  I did forget to get breast pads though - thanks for the reminder!

    Ehh. I feel like I'm behind on this. I don't know--I don't think the baby needs anything. I got a double stroller, a few more dipes and wipes (we cloth diaper), a second video monitor, pacis and socks. I am considering replacing some of our bottles with glass ones, but I don't know. We just started the nursery this weekend, and by this time with DD we were definitely totally finished with everything. Oh, how different it is with the second kiddo!

    Same things as you, but we also bought a new sound machine and humidifier as DS still uses his.

    Other than what was already posted, I am getting:

    The Itzbeen timer, a blue shopping cart cover, more Diaper Genie refills, a CD player/clock radio, nightlight, Bobby cover, bottle brush, seat mats for under car seat, sun shades for both of our cars, swaddle blankets, etc.

    We are going from girl to boy, but a lot of our stuff is gender neutral.

    We are going from girl to boy, but a lot of our stuff is gender neutral. 

    I got the itzbeen timer too and I am SO excited to use it!  I feel like it will be such a huge help with #2 as I won't have as much time to write every detail down.  Also DH and I feel it will be a great way for us to trade the baby back and forth without having to exchange all the info too.  I think it should be a staple for 2nd time moms.

    I'm excited about it too for these reasons.  Everyone's like "isn't there an app for that?"  I just want it in one place for DH and I or whomever is watching DS.  Plus, things will be more hectic with both kids!

    Totally did the same thing at BRU two weeks ago...It was a little surreal to be back looking at infant things!

    In addition to what you have listed we've bought bedding, crib (ours was recalled), bath tub, changing pad and cover, washcloths, ergo and infant insert, burp cloths and a diaper genie.

    burp cloths, towels, washcloths, baby soap, diapers, wipes, new pump parts (tubing, membranes & valves), new nipples for our dropins, dropins liners, nipple cream, breast pads, new nursing tanks, double stroller (bought the joovy ultratight sit-n-stand).  we also bought some nice A&A muslin bamboo swaddling blankets, another miracle blanket, new pacifiers, socks.

    that's pretty much it!  we're having a girl this time but didn't have to buy any clothes because my brother and SIL gave us all their girl clothes from our niece that is 1 year older.  it was so nice! :)
