Vent - IBS (slight TMI)

Not sure if anyone else has IBS (irritable bowl syndrome or "your GI stuff doesn't quite work right and we don't know why"), but it's really on my last nerve.  First in general it's no walk in the park, but it seems so much worse the past week.  And then to add insult, everytime I get diarrhea I get slightly excited thinking "maybe it's a prelabor sign...", but no it's just my stupid IBS.

    oh no, that is no fun :(

    I don't have IBS but I think my DH has a slight case of it. So I know kind of what you are going through. Having it on top of being pregnant is just horrible :( I hope it gets better soon and the runs are for a good thing this time around ;)

    I have had it on and off since HS and it has definitely gotten worse in the last few months. It is never fun. hugs!

    I have it too and have noticed that it's been flaring a bit the last couple of days.  It's no fun at all, although I much prefer diarrhea to constipation. 

    I've tried looking on the bright side,  I'm less likely to get 'rhoids since I don't have to strain to poo.

    Pregnancy hormones have done me in! I did ok for a little while, but it's getting bad again.

    I was diagnosed with IBS first year in college.  I've had one flare up during my pregnancy and I swear it was the worst it's been in years.  DH kept asking if I was ok because I kept cussing at my intestine.  I hope you feel relief from it soon!
