Brown Discharge or Old Blood??

in 1st Trimester

Ive been having a brown mucus looking discharge today..like its a pale brown. no sign of red or pink (so gross I know). Its almost the color of milk chocolate haha. anyone had this happen or know what this is? I know hormone changed can cause changes in your secretions.

Im 6weeks 4 days!

    yes, it is old blood.  Totally normal as long as you aren't having painful cramping.  It is even normal to have it streaked with 'new' blood.  Be sure to call your MD or CNM if you are worried though.

    Yesterday I thought I saw a very SLIGHT tinge of red to it, but no cramps.

    I get small cramps every now and then by not horrible or unbearable! My doctor says cramps are fine as long as they dont make you miserable.

    I cant help but worry I guess :(

    Yes, its normal.

    I had some brown with pink tinged this morning (TMI).

    My Dr. says its normal as long as its not red and there is no cramping.

    TRY not to worry but im not the one to talk...I worry about everything.

    I had some bleeding in the first tri, but it was due to an ovarian cyst.  It wasn't a big deal; after the ultrasound tech saw it, my doctor never even brought it up. 30 weeks along now, and the bleeding stopped for me around ten weeks or so.

    This also happened to me today!  This is my first pregnancy so I don't know what is normal. Freaked me out I go to my first appointment Wed. Of course I'm going to ask but from what I have read its normal. I'm also having small cramps every once in awhile not severe but it's noticeable. Has anyone also had that? 

    8 weeks today!!
