Following wakeupmaggie's direction, I went and downloaded a silent ringtone. Now all the "are you in labor yet" offenders are muted, but the real calls can still come through! lol

I would argue better than the bazillion calls and text I received this weekend was the crazy sales person at Lowe's who cornered me and asked when I was due. When I told her I am due on the 12th, she told me ALL about her SIL who was due on the 12th but her water broke on 12/13 and it was so great that she was able to get the tax write-off. AND she didn't feel the need to end the story there. Then, she wanted to tell me about giving birth to her triplets almost 20 years ago! I could have killed DH for abandoning me in that aisle.

oh nice mom. jeez!

i hate the calls/texts, but those i can ignore. it's the coworkers and in person comments that are pissing me off. here's what my current facebook status is, which is exactly what i said to the last person who asked me this question about 10 minutes ago Big Smile

"oh, you didn't have that baby this weekend??"

actually, now that you ask - yes i did! once he decided to come out, we decided it was better to fake everyone out and not let them know he came. i had him last night, he's at home, alone while me and his daddy work. oh, and this gigantic belly i still have? yeah it's a fake prostetic pregnant belly - totally not real.

C'MON PEOPLE.

She probably meant well, but yeah. I'd be kinda peeved too. The only family member pregnant is a distant cousin of mine, and she's a couple weeks behind me. Luckily, even if she did go into labor, I probably wouldn't get a phone call about it. I'd find out on facebook.

I have to make sure to update my status at least once a day though or we get calls from DH's father and from my mother. They're still calling once a week to check up on us though. >.<;

How about all the emails?! Work and personal... driving me CRAZY! Then DH tells me how his coworkers are bummed no baby yet... yeah they aren't the only ones!
