When I lived in HB, I went to Dr. Bart Barrett. He's on Beach Blvd near 5 Points. He's a Family Practicioner (Peds to Geriatrics) and quite knowledgeable. He's a bit of a Know-It-All, but he truly did know how to treat some of my obscure ailments. If I still lived in HB, I would consider him for my DS.
He also does online charting, rx, reminders, etc. I LOVED sending requests online instead of having to go into the office for things like refills.
ETA: The only time I ever waited more than 15 min (entering the office to seeing the dr) was when I needed an emergency appointment. I was clear that I was willing to wait to be seen - and even then only waited maybe a half hour.

Re: Pediatrician in Huntington Beach
I really like Dr. Chacon at Edinger Medical Group (in FV and HB) as well as the other doctors there. They have weekend urgent need hours too.
