i didn't feel anything except for the occasional leaking. i thought it was pee at first. but standing up after lunch, there was more than just a pee-leak feeling - like a tiny gush.
i remember my sister said she felt a "pop" when her water broke naturally. it just depends where along the sac is the break.
I did not feel anything - it happened in the middle of the night. I got up to pee, and the fluid just kept coming (it was a slow leak though, no gush).
My water broke at 32w4d, so that this for what its worth. I was using the restroom. My whole body just felt swollen, almost like what I imagine high blood pressure feeling, and it was a bit difficult to breathe. It was the strangest feeling I have ever had. When it subsided I stood up and then it gushed. Then I freaked.
Mine broke in the middle of the night too. I felt a snap down low that didn't feel normal so I got up to pee. I went and when I stood up it kept coming in little gushes. I woke up DH and told him my water had broken and he said, "Are you sure?" The dork.
I didn't feel anything but I crawled into bed and heard a distinctive pop sound so I got up and went to the bathroom. I thought it was pee (I was in denial) but when it wouldn't stop I accepted the fact that my water had broken.

I woke up during the night with a really intense contraction, much worse than I'd been having. I was leaning over the bed breathing through it when I felt a slight popping sensation, and then it felt like I'd peed on myself in that involuntary "oh sh*t I sneezed with a full bladder" kind of way. It was pretty obvious what it was.
Nope. At work, I got up to go to pee and I thought... am I peeing in my pants??? And then I realized my water was breaking. It started slow and then really came really fast.
no, i didn't feel anything before or during. Mine was a slow leak though. Like some of the others at first I thought it was pee but then realized my water was leaking.
I didn't really feel anything. I was actually just getting up from the toilet after peeing when I felt more liquid coming out that I wasn't in control of.
I didn't feel anything before but there was a "pop" - it was loud. I don't know if I heard it or just think I heard it b/c I felt it but it definitely popped and woke me up. As soon as I stood up, big gush. I think continued to gush on and off for quite a while.
The baby moved around a ton right before my water broke, like more than he had ever moved at one time before. I went to the bathroom, felt two pops, was able to stop the flow so I denied that my water broke. Went to the bathroom about 30 minutes later and my pants were wet (not soaking, but I probably should have noticed!). I laid down for 10 minutes or so and then felt a lot of fluid come out. I didn't feel a gush until just before pushing though.
My water didn't break until I was pushing (with either kid). I couldn't tell you if what I was feeling was just contractions or if it was water breaking related.
I had really bad menstrual like cramps (not cyclical- just there) when I went to bed, I remember them waking me up once and thinking- this is odd (I was three days overdue). Then at 4am got up to pee, went back to bed and kept leaking. Took me a little bit to figure it out but it was 4am and I'm a FTM. In retrospect it was pretty obvious
I was asleep, and it was the gurgle and gush that woke me up. So I don't know if I felt anything right before hand. And the night before, I just felt really really pregnant.
No warning signs really but mine was nothing like the others decribed. I went to pee and there was blood. I freaked, called the dr, she asked me to go to the hospital. In the next half hour or so as we were preparing to go, I had occasional trickles of water. No gushing or popping. It took a while for me to realize that is what was happening. I guess I expected little more water. By the time we got to the hospital it was pretty clear though since it wouldn't stop trickling.

The latter. I had absolutely no strange feelings prior to my water breaking either time.
Both times, I was lying in bed, and there was a pop and a gush of fluid.
So excited for you that you're so close!!
