Hi ladies,
I had my CD13 ultrasound on Friday which only showed three small (13mm follies). (I'm on Clomid 100mg + Ovidrel trigger). My previous cycles on this regimen had produced at least 3 good size (18-20mm) follies by CD 13. So, since mine were small, my RE had me repeat the u/s this morning which is CD16. Two of them grew to only 14mm and one is now 17mm. Still crappy. So, I'm waiting to hear from them to see if I should even do the trigger or if the cycle is a complete bust. I also had labs drawn today to help them decide. I usually don't ovulate this late, so I fear this cycle has been a complete waste. I cried and cried on Friday...just so frustrated and tired of all the BFNs month after month while all my friends have babies. Every last one of them. I truly feel that between my age, my Behcet's, my endometriosis, my LEEP, my h/o two previous losses, and my DH's low morphology that it'll be a miracle if we ever do carry a baby to term. DH is convinced that we're not meant to procreate because he has Type 1 diabetes and I have Behcet's. That makes me even sadder.
Sorry, pity party over and as always best wishes to everyone for an outbreak of BFPs in 2012.

I would not give up yet. Our bodies react differently at times and just because you normally O earlier than you are this month doesn't mean the eggs are bad etc. As long at the follies are growing, you are still in it. Did you get an E2 level back yet?
Hugs on the other feelings. We all have been there.

I'm sorry. I hope you still get to do the trigger this cycle. And I hope you and DH don't get too down. If obstacles meant we weren't "meant" to procreate a lot of us would be in the same boat -- including a lot of women who've had success!
Is there a reason your RE hasn't had you try injectables yet?
I am so sorry that you are dealing with such a frustrating cycle. I can relate being a DOR/Poor responder. I hope that they feel confident that with a few more days they will be ready for retrieval. Maybe these little follicles/eggs are just slowly maturing to make sure that you have quality over quantity! They are like fine litle bottles of wine.
Good luck! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!
After more than 2 years of fertility treatments, FET did the trick!

Thank you, everyone, for all the supportive comments. I really appreciate it! it's wonderful to be able to commiserate with all of you, because you TRULY understand what I'm going through. So, thank you again!
I do have an appt. with my RE this Friday to discuss getting more aggressive for next cycle (if this one's unsuccessful of course). I'm sure we'll be discussing injectibles and pros/cons of IUI vs IVF at this point. In the meantime, I'm triggering tonight, so we'll see what happens!
