Moby Wrap - how long?

How long did you use your moby wrap? SIL gave me one and I'd love to pass it along to my little sis after I'm finished with it so she won't have to register for one. Our babies are going to be about 3.5 mos apart. Did anyone use their moby longer than this? I have an ergo if that helps at all.

That sounds about right to me. I think the ergo kicks in at 15.5 pounds or something like that, so it depends on the size of your kiddo.

I used mine until DS was about 6 mos old. He still fit in it, but it was getting too hot to wear as the summer approached.

i have a moby you are welcome to use too if you aren't quite finished when your sister needs it.

I had a big baby so I probably stopped using the moby at 3 months or so, maybe a little earlier.

Ditto, about 4 months.

As DD got heavier, the stretchy fabric just didn't support her as well. She wouldn't stay tied up all snug and cozy. We switched to a mei tai around that time and still use it occasionally at 2.5 yrs.

don't have a moby, but have a baby k'tan which is similar. we can still use it (lo 30 lbs) mainly for short hip holds, but we used it for real daily use until about 6 months.
