XP: Ergo sport users, come in...

We have had our Ergo Sport for a couple of months now. When DD is in it, the back goes all the way up to her neck and when we get her out it's all red and irritated from rubbing. It also looks very uncomfortable when she's in it trying to look around.

At BRU yesterday, we tried on the regular Ergo with her in it, and not only did it not go up so far, but I noticed it fit my husband and me both way better. Her weight felt more on my hips and her body seemed in the proper seated position instead of her body being more flat against mine like in the Sport.

I've tried readjusting every which way, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone else run into this problem?

    Could you try rolling up a receiving blanket to put underneath her tush?

    We've had good luck with the Sport, but MD is also pretty tall and long-torsoed.  Hope you figure something out.

    I will try that. She's 18 lbs. and 28 in. long, but maybe her torso is short. If she was content being in there with her head resting on me, we wouldn't have an issue...
