Spotting and Mild Cramping

Anyone else have spotting and mild cramping?

For some reason I don't think this baby is going to wait until the 29th to be born.

    Nope, it doesn't sound like it! I haven't had spotting yet. Have you called your doctor?

    No, he is not open yet this morning. I know when I had spotting the week before Christmas all he did was tell me to take it easy (I had an u/s scheduled for the next day).

    Then last week we did an u/s and NST becuase of decreased fetal movement and he passed with flying colors.

    I feel like I am the bigges complainer in his office right now, I am hesitate to call again.

    Would you call? Would you wait for the spotting to become like a flow or stronger cramps??

    Don't worry about calling too much, that is their job. And it's not like you're calling about anything ridiculous, you have legitimate reasons! If it is bright red, I would definitely call.

    Yes, its bright red but spotting....its weird...I didn't have this with dd.

    I had it with DS, went in for a NST that he failed horribly. I was induced later that day at 38w4d. It could be nothing, or you could have a small placenta abruption. Better to be safe than sorry IMO.

    And no, I don't think you'll make it until the 29th! :-)

    My doc said at my last appt that spotting and some cramping is normal, but if it is heavy or bright red to call.  I doubt that you are the biggest pain for your doc office, and if you are concerned it can't hurt to call.

    I would call too. My dr always stresses for me to call if there is any type of bleeding. I'm sure it is nothing serious, but they want to know. Don't feel like a pain!

    The cramping is probably nothing to worry about; maybe just contractions that are feeling like cramps.

    Or you are just getting that end of pregnancy crampiness. I am being induced on January 28 and was already 2 cm at my last appt so I have definitely been feeling crampy and gross.

    I would def call about the spotting though. IMO, any amount of blood always warrants a call in!
