Boy names

Even though we're team green, we all know this is probably going to be another boy. And of course I hate coming up with boy names, So what would you suggest to go with Charles Parker & Paul Michael? (both are family names, but I'm really running out of males I like in either of our families) My sister's name is Andrea so I thought maybe Andrew, but DH vetoed it. We may use Nicholas as a middle name (DH's first name). Some other names in the family are Gary, Neal, Frank, Millard (yeah no), John/Johnathan is on the no list even though I love it.DH's Italian family is no help because they just use the same names over & over. No names that start with a "B" because our last name starts with B & I think it would sound funny. Why is this so difficult??

Re: Boy names

  • Here was our boy name list:

Henry, William (Will), Samuel (Sam)...mn would have been David

Other names I like: Nathan (DHs name), Benjamin,  Daniel

    DD1: 3/31/10 DD2: 9/7/11

  • I love Andrew (also vetoed), Anderson, and Jonathan (Dh's name).  Daniel would have most likely been our boy name.

Not much of a help, but I like your taste :)

  • My favorites are Thomas (obviously), William, Henry, Lucas, Benjamin, Andrew, James, and Simon.
  • The names we talked about for ds are Clayton, Caleb, DH liked Brendan and I liked Brandon but we couldn't agree.  Michael is the mn.

I also liked a lot of these names but DH shot them down for either people he knows or he didn't like the nick names: Andrew, Thomas, Matthew, David, James, Ryan, Benjamin

  • I like all the names on tina's list.  I think you need a classic name to go with charlie and paul.  I am not a fan of your family names.

Henry, Harrison, Harry, David, James, oliver

  • I agree you need a classic name. Boys names are hard. They seem to be either super common or way out there.

Henry popped into my head too because i think that was one of your top choices for Paul, right?

Could you go further back on any sides of the family to find a cool family name? Is there anything you could use a tribute to your mom somehow? I'm sure you've thought of all these things already.

Anyway. they are probably not your style.. but our top boys names were Micah and Brady and Brett and the middle name was going to be either Joseph or Marc or both.

  • Henry popped into my head right away. I agree with the others, you need something classic. I like David, Matthew, Timothy and John with your sons' names. Good Luck!!!!  And, I always thought boys names were easier than girls! Ha.
  • Obviously Evan and Andrew :)

    Matthew, Jack, Alexander (Alex), Liam

I wish I could, but there are already 2 Johnathan *our last name* and I refuse to have my child associated with their reputations ;)

I think we may have a possible name. We're not 100% in love with it, but maybe it will grow on us some more...
