Hello Ladies! I haven't been on here much lately! Hope everyone is doing well :)

I have a teething related question.

DD has been teething since, I would say three months old. Over the last few months though it has gotten much worse. The usual things like drooling and eagerly chewing on everything in sight, and now for the last few months we've added red, swollen gums to the mix. She turned 9 months this week and still NO teeth! (DS had two teeth already at this point) I know all babies develop at their own pace, but I am starting to wonder when we are going to see a tooth considering she's been teething for 6 mons already! Any other toothless, teething babies?

    My nephew started teething at about 4 months, had the same symptoms as your DD, but didn't get any teeth until a week after his first birthday.  He is now 19 months old and has LOTS of teeth.  His older brother got his first teeth about about 8 months old.  I wouldn't be concerned yet.

    We have a slightly similar problem. Baby boy has two teeth that erupted around five months. Nothing else since, but symptoms of teething for the past four months. His urge to chew is constant. I wish some more would just erupt already! I can't tell if they are going to come from the sides of his lower jaw or the upper jaw. It's all red so it's hard to tell. Hang in there mama!

    My girl just erupted teeth this past week.  I went to a birthday party for a one year old baby yesterday, he still doesn't have any teeth.

    This sounds just like my LO!  I blame everything on teething though! hah!  People keep telling me that the longer it takes the teeth to come through supposedly the better/stronger teeth your LO will have.  Not sure there is any truth to that but it makes me feel a little better about dealing with "teething" for the last 6 months!
