Best way to sell a bunch of crafty stuff?

While I was PG, we converted my craft room to a guest room (since the guest room became the nursery) and we managed to fit a table and ALL my craft stuff into that room's closet. I had high hopes that we'd be out of this house by now and into a home with space for a craft room/area, but that has not happened and won't for quite some time.

I have hardly touched all this stuff in 2+ years and I think I'm finally ready to sell it all. That guest room has since become a dual purpose play room/guest room and I'd love to use that closet space for something else - like a reading nook for Cam or something.

Anywho, what do you think the best (read: easiest) way to get rid of this stuff would be? I have tons of scrapbooking tools, a full crate of different paper, embellishments, a set of 12 monthly books that have ideas for each month... the list goes on and on.

Ideas? Suggestions on pricing for things that were purchased 2-5 years ago and not used the last 2+?

Thanks, ladies.

  • You let me take first crack at it...

  • If you want to drive your happy self all the way up here, sure. :)

I wonder how hard it would be for me to box it all up and meet you somewhere... hmmm.... let me go stare it all for a bit and see.

  • Hmm... I'm a crafter and would love to see what you have available. It would probably be easier to group similar items together and price them in bulk (i.e. embellishments, paper, punches, etc.)

I'm still interested in buying all your punches (including the two that have been living at my house - sorry). :)  But if someone else wants to buy a bigger bundle, that would make more sense for you.

I totally gave you first dibs a long time ago, no worries.

I just need to figure out how I'm going to do this....

  • I'd love to have a look, too! My crafting supplies are already totally out of hand, there's no reason not to add to the insanity.

We could all meet at a park or something and buy your stuff ;)

    .
  • If it were on a weekend, I'd totally like to take a peek myself! So, let the nesties/bumpies attack. Anything left over, sell in lots on craigslist.
We have so much time, and so little to do! Strike that, reverse it.

    Ooooh good idea :)

    Yes

    Big Smile

  • Well, I'm off work tomorrow so maybe I'll figure a way to put it all in a big box or plastic tote and figure out a day to have a "buy my crap" play-date somewhere. :)

The fewer things I have to photograph and list on craiglist, the better.

You need to have a Scentsy party, bring all your crafty stuff and while people are ordering, they can also look over your craft items.  Done and done.  Have it somewhere more central, for my sake.  ;)

Oooh. I like that idea even better.

    Hmmm...
