Qs about BOTB "drama?"

WTF happened? Why is everyone over there panicking? I don't want names, I just want to know what happened and if it affects me. TIA.

    I can't believe that people would google others, and then post thier personal information.  That is just so wrong on so many different levels!

    It's funny that this isn't even the first time that something like this has happened.  Mandybr, you were around during the whole drama about Jared something weren't you?  That was a life altering scandal on BOTB.

    Apparently their (the chicks on the AlterNest) game of googling people, getting personal information and posting it backfired.

    Monkey has an issue with one of the MC ladies and I guess lovenote either became friends with them or just decided to hate Monkey on her own.

    Anyways, lovenote I guessed hacked into somethings of Monkey's and posted her kid's picture or something stupid like that.

    It is sort of funny that they are all up in arms over it now.  When I mentioned the fact that the googling was out of hand a couple of months ago they acted like I was the antichrist. Apparently it is okay to do to people you don't like but god forbid a "popular" nestie have the same thing done to her.

    Huh. Interesting. This is why I don't post pics of DH and I online other than "safe" places (i.e. password protected) and occasional PIPs.

    Google me, don't google me - eh. All you will find is blog about when I was a tramp maybe 5-7 years ago and some scrapbook pages I made. read it if you want, but I figure you are just wasting your time -  ya know?  My internets philosophy is that if I put it on the internet, I better be ok with whomever might see it, ya know?

     

    I mean - lol- friendlyfanny came up with this AWFUL picture of me from when I was 16 and posted it trying to piss me off, but you just gotta let it go. Does it matter if someone else googles you and reposts pictures you already posted of yourself online?  Nope, not really.

    No...you only need to worry when they actually start showing up at your wedding or something crazy like that.
