Are you delivering at Christiana Hospital? That's where I delivered my first 2 and where I will go again! Who's your OB? I go to AAW.
Anyway, I actually live in South Jersey so my pedi is closer to my house. You can talk to your OB though and see who they recommend. Or friends... that's how I found mine.
Probably too far, but I used to use All Star Pediatritians in downingtown, PA. ( I drove 20 minutes) My girlfriend uses them too and lives in PA but 2 miles from the DE line, it takes her about 25 minutes to get there. They are that good.
I'm a little farther north than that, but I thought I'd throw this in there anyway. We see Dr. Gotthold, and he is awesome, as is the whole office. We usually wait a while for our appointments, but it's because he takes so much time to answer questions - we've never been rushed out of there.
A few weeks ago, Abby felt really warm. I took her temp under her arm and it was 102.9. I called and left at message at 11:30. I got a call back 15 minutes later, and had an appointment for 30 minutes later with the nurse practitioner. (It would have been in 15 minutes, but I needed more time to get all our stuff together.) When we couldn't figure out a cause, she sent us to AI duPont, and we were in a room in 10 minutes. It turned out to be a UTI, and I'm so glad we were able to get an appointment so quickly, b/c it was only going to get worse.
mrs.jenni - it's been forever! Your kids are beautiful!
I use First State Pediatrics,in Hockessin, not sure if thats to far for you. Dr Healy is awesome. They do have another location, not sure where it is though and they have different drs at the other location. I think they have a website with the addresses. Good luck and congrats!

We travel frequently to DE from out of state to go to DuPont for the majority of DDs appts. DD is medically complex and we've been to literally to so many hospitals and clinics and had surgeries done at several different places. DuPont has blown us away with their team work and bed-side manner. Even their phlebotomists are awesome! ... Not sure if they offer a pediatricians for more standard care, but I'd definitely check them out if so.
