My mom is over helping me out a little and visiting and I've made it soo very clear that DS only gets BF for a few more months and then only very limited things, she always wants to give him food wth? Anyways she took his pacifier and dipped it in soda and gave it to him!!!! I almost screamed at her and she thinks it's funny I'm like well this is why you won't get to ever babysit him and I won't get a date night because you do stuff like this. Not cool!

My mom did the same with DD. She would put whipped cream and mashed potatoes in her mouth. When I got pregnant with LO my mom insisted that I wouldn't allow her to spoil DD because I yelled at her for giving DD whipped cream when she was just a few months old. Then she said something along the lines of she didn't want to get close to LO because I won't let her spoil him the same way either.

I know exactly what you're going through but my case is worst..because I have arguments with husband because he wants to dip babies pacifiers in things..AHHHH it gets me so upset! They don't understand their tummies are so sensitive at this time.
