I didn't think it was considered a "low end" item? They're more expensive than the Graccos! There is no way we would be buying an Uppa or BOB at the prices those are...

I didnt think it was low-end either. Hmm....now I'm second guessing my choice! I guess I need to do a bit more research.

Safety 1st is owned by Dorel Juvenule who also owns Eddie Bauer and Cosco. These are all lower end brands than say Graco or Chicco. These brands also have more of a history of recalls, not to mention they are a pain to install!.
