I started having meat aversions at 5-6 weeks. I'm getting plenty of protien from other things, but am just curious if anyone else if still having meat aversions in the 2nd tri or any 2nd time moms that had meat aversions the whole pregnancy?
I am still having terrible trouble with this. I can eat steak with no problem (as long as it's a good cut and not overcooked), but that's about it. It sucks.
Absolutely my problem over here. I still buy and cook chicken and pork for my DH and SS, but I hate even the sight of it. The only meat that is ok with me is beef. But I also am not interested in PB or eggs so I am resorting to supplementing protein with a Special K protein bar during the day.
Yes, meat si still really grossing me out. I got over it with DS1 but this little boy does not want me to enjoy food. I hope it doesn't last much longer for either of us.
I am still having a really hard time even hearing about meat. Chicken is the worst for me! I can't stand the smell!
I'm good with all meat now except for chicken. The look, the smell, the texture, the thought of being anywhere near it makes me feel sick. Its just the strangest thing because I used to eat a lot of chicken, probably at least twice a week!
I am having trouble cooking any meat at all. I want to eat most of it but I don't want to be the one to cook it. Chicken was one of the only meats that I ate on a regular basis prior to pregnancy but now I want nothing to do with it.
I had meat aversions early on too, but I'm slowly being able to tolerate the smell and taste. Chicken is my "go to," but I can tolerate pork and ground beef. However, I won't touch a steak with a 10 foot pole.

I've gotten better, but early on in my pregnancy, I made a pork roast, and for some reason, the thought of that roast (and any other subsequent roast) makes me totally grossed out. But other meats are generally fine. It's obnoxious, though, and I agree with others that sometimes I want to eat the meat, but I don't want to cook or prepare the meat. Ugh.

I have had a meat aversion throughout my entire pregnancy, this is my first pregnancy...I used to love steak and chicken and now I really don't want anything to do with meat...especially red meat. I bet this will last the rest of the pregnancy. I am also having a hard time finding what I have a taste for when I get hungry, so annoying

Yes, I still have them. Ate my first cheeseburger yesterday though so it must be letting up a little bit. Steak used to be my absolute favorite food and even now, it still seems disgusting!

my aversion just started about 2 weeks ago. It sucks. I love meat.
I'm having a hard time getting protein.
This is my third pregnancy - and with each one I have not been able to eat chicken the entire time...........just grosses me out!
Thankfully I'm good with other meats and eggs - but NO chicken (even thinking about it makes me gag).
