bath and sex

When were you cleared for both?  With my first c-section, I don't remember when I could take a  bath, but I was cleared for sex at 4 weeks (didn't do it that soon though)

I haven't bled since day 4 so bleeding is not an issue. I miss taking baths.

    I stopped bleeding at 3wks and took a bath then. Sex after 6 ws

    Just because you've stopped bleeding doesn't necessarily mean you're healed up. I'd wait for the doctor to clear you.

    I bled for three weeks and was cleared for baths and sex at six weeks.

    Sex at 6 weeks. I think baths were about 3 weeks. I know it was once staples were removed...

    I have been taking sitz baths since my staples came out. As long as I don't get the water level over the scar it's ok.
    Edited because I am an English teacher and that's what we do.

    My doc never mentioned baths specifically... I only bled till day 4 as well.. and I took a bath on day 5. I didn't have any external staples or stitches and my incision was completely closed (looked like a fully healed one) So I just made sure the tub was super clean and sanitized first.. and man did I enjoy it!  Oh- and had no repercussions either :)
