Lactation Consultants in Arlington/Alexandria

Hi ladies! Any rec's for LC's in the Arlington/Alexandria/Falls Church area?? Looking for any good/bad experiences. Thank you so much!!

    no personal experience but Children's Medical Associates has LCs on staff and I have seen positive posts here and on the Old Town Moms listserv. Plus, if the appointment is separate from a well child visit- I think insurance covers it.

    Pat Shelley at the Breastfeeding Center (on K St.) was really helpful.  She was so busy when I called that she fit me in at 10 pm on a Friday night, which worked with an infant that was up every few hours anyway and so much better than waiting until Monday.

    They are fantastic! And yes, our insurance covered it.
