Had contractions every 5 min for 45 min...three more would have been an hour.

Looks like it was just a practice run - so glad I didn't send my daughter's play date home and call my husband to leave work early in order to pick me up (he works less than 10 min from the hospital, but 1/2 hour from our house).

Back to wait & see! Worst case scenario, Thursday it is!

I was thinking "nahhh...",

then I was thinking "hmmm...",

then I was thinking "OMG...!"

...straight to "@*$&#)@!!!!!!"

Same thing happened to me on Thursday, BUT I actually went into L&D, the contractions HURT LIKE HELL. For the two hours I was there my cervix didn't change at all so they sent me home, I contracted for another two hours after I got home then they stopped... lol

(things are soooo different with a second!!! everything is "it'll all get done..." in my mind this time around)

I'm hoping I'm one of those women whose water breaks. I dread the thought of timing contractions, not being sure, not wanting to bother anyone for a false alarm, etc.

I keep getting excited when my BHC's occur in multiples. but mine have not been really timeable. DH argues that if I can tell him its every 20 minutes, thats timeable. But i just roll my eyes and say, "no, dear... Real contractions will be closer together."

LOL, I feel you. I'm on #3 and don't even have her room ready yet.

If I had the energy, I would post a picture of the "baby's room" which still has our office furniture and a twin bed in it...all to go tomorrow...hopefully! The crib, glider, etc...all.in.boxes.stacked up high. Not a single thing is assembled. I'm feeling accomplished simply because I did some laundry, which there wasn't even that much of since we're Team Green and most are holding off on the gifts until they know the gender. Lol.

Sounds just like us! The crib isn't assembled, furniture isn't moved out of the room. I'm not in a huge rush because I know she'll be in our room at first anyhow!

ETA: I am packed, though, wooo!
