Bleeding after section - TMI

I had a section 4 weeks ago.  I had a bowel movement yesterday and noticed stringy like discharge when I wiped. I though it was odd but knowing what your body goes thru I didn't think too much of it.  I just had another and this time when I wiped, there was blood and what looked like a small lump of blood in the toilet. I have stopped bleeding a week ago. I am not in any pain.  Has anyone else experienced this? There was no blood in my panties either when I went to the bathroom.  Could it be my period so soon?

 

If it continues, I will be calling my doctor Monday morning but if anyone else has experienced this it would put me at ease! I had no complications with my section.

    It could be coming out because you're pushing to have the BM.

    I had that.  I think it is a problem if you are passing clots bigger than a golf ball.  Then I would call, but some clots and tissue are normal.  I had bleeding off and on for about six weeks.  Then it stopped then I got my period four weeks later.  Probably normal your still only four weeks post partum.

    It is very normal to bleed off and on. As long as the bleeding is not heavy and the clots are not large it isn't anything to worry about.

    I had bleeding off and on for the first 6 weeks
    After many years and tears our baby boy is finally here

    Thank you so much for your responses! I feel much better! The bleeding isn't anything aabnormal after watching it for a few hours.

    I had a similar experience after having a BM, too. Sounds normal to me!
