My poor DH. I'm sure all he wanted to do this weekend is relax, but I have other ideas. We are clearing everything out to make room for the baby furniture, which should be delivered any day. Plus, I'm making him go with me to run all the errands we have been putting off, which will actually end up clearing even more out of the house. I just can't relax today until my home feels clean and ready! I can't wait til its done!

I know the feeling! I have been like that this week. DH played along for a few days (even shampooing the carpets in the whole house for me!). I couldn't sleep last night because I was making a to do list on my phone and kept getting up to add things to it, ha. It's good to be so productive though!

I just cleaned out the "office" which will be our baby's room. I just got this burst of energy and had to start shredding and cleaning. DH is running around doing other things, so its just me in my cleaning mode. Is it too early for nesting?!? lol

I thought it was early for nesting too and just told DH I hope this isn't the beginning because it's gonna be 3 loooong months!

I'm right there with you! I already posted that I am thrilled DH is painting the nursery today. In the meantime, I have been going through DD#1's clothes and clothes we have already been given/bought and sorting into piles before I start washing and putting things away tomorrow!

Plus, my cousin just text me about plans for my shower (sprinkle, actually) and asked me about a registry, so I am also making a list for that too! Not registering for much because it is suppose to be a low key shower for baby #2, but my family will go crazy no matter what.

ive been in nesting mode since about 10 wks. its tiring but itll be worth it in the end. ive rearranged my house like 3 times!

I am feeling the same way! Monday we cleared out everything from the nursery and today we bought tons of organization stuff so we can organize the crap we moved out. Tomorrow DH is steam cleaning the carpet. Next weekend we'll set up the crib!

Oh.my.god. I am in super cleaning and decorating for baby mode too! I've already dragged DH to IKEA today, helped him assemble the bookcase we bought and filled it with stuff in the nursery. All her clothes have been washed and are hanging (I plan on washing them again before she comes but I felt I just had to do now as well!) The bedding has been washed and is on the crib. Tomorrow, I am going to work on the spare bedroom which has nothing to do with the baby but it is full of crap and needs organizing!

I am in a nesting mode too - but DH doesn't quite get it! He's been really good at getting the room painted and the baby's bathroom redone but I was able to motivate him with the fact we were having guests for Christmas so wanted it done for them to use.

However, we are getting the dresser made for the nursery and the guy who is making it will take 4-6 weeks. Dh doesn't understand why I want him to get started making it now and keeps telling me that April is a long way away!
