38 wks and woke up vomiting 3x overnight, migraine, now "sick hiney".

TMI warning:

I feel AWFUL. I can't take the throwing up in my sleep and waking with a mouthful, run-waddling to the bathroom, finishing up and then brushing, mouthwashing, nose blowing, peeing and trying to get back to sleep only to have it strike again. It's scary and disgusting and just awful and leaves me so shaken up!

Then to wake up after the third episode with a rocking migraine, but afraid to take the Fioricet my Ob gave me (which TG I haven't had to take in almost two months now) because I thought for sure it would come right back up! I finally felt confident that my stomach was settled and took it, but never looked at the clock. My head is beginning to really pound again now, but I'm nervous about taking another dose if it's too soon.

To boot, of course I promised my 6 1/2 yr old a playdate with her BFF here this afternoon while my husband is at work. I don't have the heart to cancel being that her life as an only child is about to go topsy turvy on her in five days, but seriously I could go for a day in my jams on the couch feeling miserable and doing NOTHING. Instead I have to get the laundry caught up and put away the piles & piles I have going in the family room right now, wash the dishes since we had no water most of yesterday (think there was a water main break at the end of our block - I don't know because I was at work all day, picked my daughter up from school, brought her straight to gymnastics and by the time I got home at nearly 7pm I wasn't up for a walk down the block to find out...just know that we had no water and they were jackhammering away until after 10pm). So I'll have a wild 6 1/2 yr old here from 2:30-7pm (including a promised taco dinner for the girls). My own is so good about "quiet time" but put them together and look out.

strangely in pregnancy salt has helped my migraines...not clue why. otherwsie a little caffeine seems to jumpstart my recovery....

Thanks! I wound up taking another Fioricet about an hour ago - I couldn't take it anymore and figured if it was that bad, the first must have worn off. I downed it with a cup of coffee and a glass of water, but the salt is news to me. Interesting, but def worth a shot!
